Our fabrication bay in the Orange, NSW workshop is equipped with a range of equipment suitable for any general or custom fabrication job required. The fabrication bays are 10m wide to accommodate full-sized dump bodies. The fabrication end of the workshop is equipped with Lincoln electric welders, 176 tonne CNC brake press and a 6mm guillotine (3.2m wide). We also offer onsite fabrication repairs throughout NSW, running fully equipped field service trucks and a mobile trailer.

Refurbishment & Overhaul
Whittaker Contracting is an expert in refurbishing excavator buckets, including crack and structural repairs and modifications, lip and GET change outs and wear package design and installation. Our extensive capabilities and mining industry expertise mean we can extend our specialist services across a broad range of refurbishments and overhaul projects, including crack repairs on excavator booms, sticks, H-links and dog bones; the overhaul of haul truck trays, dozer blades and all heavy mining equipment requiring complete refurbishment and modification.

Field Service Labour Hire
Through supporting our products and our customers in the field, we have developed the skills, equipment, qualifications and expertise to provide high-level onsite welding services, repair, maintenance and labour hire.
Parts Supply
We know breakdowns occur, and when they do, time is of the essence to get things back up and running. To support our customers, we have a customised Critical Spare Parts List (CSPL) and stock these items in-house. Examples of parts include:
